Do you know where it's taking you?
We know eating good food and exercising is good for us.
It makes us feel better, more energized, and more productive.
We know working on our passions makes me feel good and gives more excitement in life.
We know waking up early allows us to get more done in the day, which quickly turns to weeks, months and years.
We know spending quality disconnected time with our family is important for bonding and building connections
We intrinsically we know doing all of these things makes us feel better, happier, and more fulfilled.
We all know what we need to do and what we should do, but still we let ourselves off the hook.
And that’s ok. So long as we are consciously aware of what to do to get back on track
Momentum is crucial in life.
When you stop the gym, stop waking up early, stop working on your dreams, those things don’t stay the same.
You fall into a negative habit loop. You regress.
Skip a few weeks of exercise and you will notice your muscles deflate and you will be a bit weaker.
Suddenly we let loose on our diet, and it ripples into other areas of our lives.
Building momentum requires discipline.
It’s a battle and it’s not easy.
We will slip up.
And that’s ok.
Just make sure you hold yourself accountable and recover as soon as you notice.
Get back on track and get the momentum going in the right direction.
In many ways life is just like sports.
And, just like in sports, momentum is the difference between winning and losing.
Check what you value and make sure momentum is working for you, not against you.
